However great your pain may be, notice the world in which Divine Goodness has placed you and let life renew your hope.

Everything is service everywhere.

Despite the prophets of pessimism, threatening storms turn into flying lakes when the storm hits, nourishing the thirsty soil; long-running springs pierce through the sharp claws of the rock, becoming a symbol of purity; drained swamps yield comforting harvests and pruned trees multiply production.

All energies that sustain the Earth forget all evil, seeking all good.

It seems as if the Lord himself created night as a way to relieve the daily worries, so that every morning, man can relearn and start over.

Thus placed on the throne of reason, before the inferior elements that serve you humbly, forget the shadow so that the light may favor you.

Listen to your own conscience, whatever religious beliefs you may have, and you will realize that you were born to achieve the best.

And those who do their best are unaware of what constitutes offense or impudence, because offense is the thorn of ignorance and impudence is the scourge of delinquency, which only education and medicine can eliminate.

Everything you enjoy is a sacred deposit.

Gifts of spirit and precious affections, authority and influence, titles and possessions are borrowed talents that you will return at the appointed time.

Therefore, even if most people mock your desire to do good, always forgive and do the good you can.

The time that brings you today’s opportunity will tomorrow be the bearer of the minute necessary for the great transition that death always imposes on the just and unjust… And in the great transition, the good you have done, often overcoming sacrifices and darkness, will be the fertilizing dew after the cloud, the pure water refined in the stone, the green branch standing out from the mud, and the ripe fruit hanging from the torn trunk..

Follow, then, the light of goodness, so that the twilight of physical strength may reveal the starry path to you.

Don’t say that your home is like a prison, that you lack the understanding of others, that you don’t have the resources to help, or that you suffer from insurmountable inhibitions.

Remember that one day, an angel transformed into a man, climbed an aggressive mountain, sentenced to death without guilt, but because he accepted the cross, out of love for all, although desolate and alone, he forever illuminated the path of the entire world.
