In the development of Spiritist-Christian teachings, let us help each fellow member realize the value of the effort expected of them.
It cannot be emphasized enough that all of us – both the living and the departed – in the service of our own evolution and in the work of Spiritist Philosophy, function as a team, striving toward a single goal: the consolidation of the common good.
Each worker is assigned to the right place to ensure seamless cooperation.
One captures the vibrant essence of words; another maintains a firmer sense of direction; yet another writes convincingly; and still another, with greater authority, provides healing energy… There are those who take responsibility for education, for moral comfort, for assisting the needy, and for tending to the soul…
Every task to be performed – regardless of which part of a given mechanism it involves – is of the utmost importance. For this reason, there are no privileges or distinctions in the development of Higher Spirituality.
The person called upon to produce spectacular phenomena or brilliant displays of intelligence is no greater than the worker tasked with soothing wounds or alleviating suffering behind the scenes.
The Apostle Paul, referring to this subject, coined this apt expression:
“If they were all one part, where would the body be?”
The eyes do not take the place of the ears, nor do the hands assume the duties of the feet; yet they all work together, interconnected, for the benefit of the true self.
Let us learn from Nature and, remaining true to our own calling, let us improve our ability to serve as much as possible, always recognizing that the harvest of good belongs to the Lord.
